Welcome

Pratique serves individuals with guided, uniquely tailored 50-minute long yoga sequences that increase energy, strength and alignment. Clients often find they are calmer and more relaxed. They experience less pain, are better rested and have more energy to do what they love. In fact, one put it this way, “Before long, I was standing taller, walking longer, and even breathing became easier.”

Lecture/Performance: Death in the Age of Bardo 11/20/11

“Die with Me"

Join us for an invigorating look at Buddhism, contemporary art and the inevitable, death.

As part of Pittsburgh Biennial – Gertrude’s/LOT, Lilith Bailey-Kroll and Tyler Phan will present “Death in the Age of Bardo.” This special event will take place on November 20th at the Andy Warhol Museum from 12-1:30PM. The goal of this event is to provide context for the artists’ work and to spark dialogue about the issues of death in America.

New Location

I am excited welcome you to my new office at 4111 Penn Ave,
directly across the street from Brillo Box and only a few blocks from
the old studio.

The recent change in location helped to remind me of how yoga can be
used to cultivate confidence with the transitions of life and insight
into moving through them with beauty and grace.

I look forward to seeing you soon!

Completion

Hello Friends and Family,

I have just come down from the mountain. It was amazing and I want to thank you for all your prayers and good thoughts, they were felt. Although everyone says that 9 days is your hardest and I had stressed about it all year... I am happy to report that this vision quest was the easiest I have had. I felt supported, and oh so lusciously juicy. I stayed hydrated the whole time! I even had the energy to do my yoga practice every morning.

Up the Mountain

Greetings!

As some of you know I am in Mexico to complete the third year of my spiritual commitment. This year I will be “on the mountain” (which is what we call the time during vision quest) for 9 days.

I will start on Saturday, April 16th and end Monday, April 25th.

During this time I will be fasting and abstaining from water. This is a sacred right of passage where often one receives visions.  The word vision quest is a little bit of a mistranslation though. The actual word “hamblechya” is Lakota and means, “to cry in the dark for a vision.”
