Hello Friends and Family,

I have just come down from the mountain. It was amazing and I want to thank you for all your prayers and good thoughts, they were felt. Although everyone says that 9 days is your hardest and I had stressed about it all year... I am happy to report that this vision quest was the easiest I have had. I felt supported, and oh so lusciously juicy. I stayed hydrated the whole time! I even had the energy to do my yoga practice every morning.

Day one started late as it usually does. They plant us after an all night ceremony. And this year like most, we were planted as the sun set. It rained twice while I was up there. And it was cold on the mountain around 30 degrees in the evening and hot 80-90 during the day, with no shade from 12-sunset. But, I had my 2 trusty blankets so the cold and rain were not a problem. I have become a pro at caconing myself into a warm little pod.

This year I was placed at the top of the mountain in the same altar that Joan and Daya had been in. So, I felt like I was with family, even though they couldn't be in Mexico. I also made the most fantastic bed out of pine needles! Every night I fluffed it and kicked out the spiders and little bugs that had taken up residence.

Lots of things happened during those 9 days on the mountain. I learned about the importance of REST. Not sleep- but deep, restorative, rejuvenating rest. I understand now how important that is for us as humans and for us during this time of transition. I pray that I can bring the lessons I learned about restorative rest into my daily life and my work with clients. Plus, there were some major yoga break throughs. Things I have been working on for years became clear. I think I can take the title yoga master now.

But most importantly I feel that my astral/energetic body was cleaned and healed. I feel a sense of freedom, integration, and excitement about the path that lays ahead.

I can't wait to see each of you and give you big hugs!

Love,
Lilith
